On-Campus Resources

The Math Discovery Center, located in SG 268, offers drop-in tutoring and mathematics-related computer software programs. Selected student tutors and/or faculty members are available to answer brief questions and give short explanations of problems from all levels of math courses. Students should be enrolled in a math class at GCC to use the Math Discovery Center (MDC).  Click here if you are interested in becoming a tutor.

The Learning Center, located in AD 232, offers two important services for math students. Through NetTutor, students have the opportunity to get free online tutoring in any math subject available most hours of the day and into the late hours of the night. Students can also sign up for a one-half hour appointment to receive free one-on-one tutoring for their math course available twice a week.

The Math Workshop Series offers free interactive and dynamic student workshops on individual math topics led by GCC faculty. Check out the schedule by clicking on the link and pre-register for a workshop though MyGCC to reserve a seat.
