Glendale Community College
Home MenuWhat is Articulation?
Articulation is the process of developing a formal, written agreement that identifies courses, or sequences of courses, from a "sending" campus that are comparable to, or acceptable in lieu of specific course requirements at a "receiving" campus. The main purpose of articulation is to facilitate the successful transfer of students from a community college to a four-year institution.
What is an Articulation Agreement?
An articulation agreement is, most commonly, an agreement between Glendale Community College (GCC) and a college or university, which specifies which GCC courses may be transferred to meet general education, major, or elective requirements. GCC has a number of articulation agreements with California State University (CSU), University of California (UC) and private institutions in California as well as out-of-state.
Below you will find the articulation agreements that GCC has in place with both in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities, as well as transfer guides and transfer credit equivalencies information for several institutions. Don't see an agreement with a college or university you're interested in? Meet with a counselor for help creating an education plan.
