Program Chair - Roger Dickes (rdickes@glendale.edu)

Roger Dickes is the full-time professor of digital animation and gallery director at Glendale College.  He received an MFA in Fine Art from Art Center College of Design in 1998 and has maintained a dual career since then, one in computer animation and one in fine art.  As an technical director, he has worked on South Park: The Motion Picture in addition to many freelance commercial advertising projects.  He designed the CG Baby Ruth bar for broadcast.  Dickes has also worked with the artist Liz Larner in creating 3d rendered presentations for the bridge built by Disney Imagineering that connects the main lot to the animation studio. He has taught 3-d animation for nearly 20 years.

Motion Graphics - Ben Bardens (bbardens@glendale.edu)

Ben Bardens is an Los Angeles based After Effects artist who has been working in the animation and post production industries since 1998.  Ben has extensive experience with motion graphics, compositing and visual effects having worked on projects ranging from television, documentary and internet series, to sports teams and live events.  Ben has been teaching After Effects and Photoshop at GCC since 1999 where he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Art & Animation.  His website is benbardens.com.

2D Animation - Allan Jacobsen (ajacobsen@glendale.edu)

Allan Jacobsen has worked as an Animation Director, Writer, Storyboard Artist, Designer, and most recently, as Producer. He has had the privilege and pleasure to Direct for Dreamworks TV, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Fox, Film Roman and DreamEast Productions, as well as designing and creating and producing an upcoming animated for Disney Latin America. As a writer and illustrator, Allan has worked for Marvel Comics and DC Comics. He has been working as an Adjunct Animation Instructor for Glendale Community College and John Burroughs High School since Fall 2015.
