Department of Architectural Technology
Goals of the Architecture Department
The Architectural Technology department curriculum is formulated and designed to meet the specific needs of both certificate and transfer students. The certificate meets or exceeds current industrial requirements.
The goals of the certificate are to:
- Provide new students with the information, skills, and training to enter the field of architecture.
- Provide a course of study which will allow those already working in architecture to advance within their organization.
- Provide an overview of architecture, design, inspection and construction techniques and their dependencies upon each other.
- Provide architects a resource of trained and knowledgeable personnel for both entry level and advanced positions.
Thank you for your interest in the program and feel free to contact me with any questions about the department.
