In the course schedule, there will be meeting days and times listed when the course will be taught synchronously (Ex: If class is scheduled for M-W at 9:30am, students will attend a Zoom/Canvas meeting during the scheduled time) on a platform such as Zoom.
- Online courses allow you to work on your own time, asynchronously. These may be a great option if you need flexibility in your day due to work, child care, elder care, or other responsibilities.
- Hybrid courses will be a combination of remote synchronous learning and online asynchronous learning. This may be the best choice if you want some weekly connection with your professor and classmates but also some flexibility.
