MESA is for Calculus-based STEM students who meet the following eligibility:

• Declare a calculus-based major in math, science, or engineering (see specific list below)
• Plan to take two consecutive STEM courses after pre-calculus and Calculus I
• Are educationally impacted, for example:
  • First-generation in college student
  • Parents do not have a BA or higher  
• Are economically impacted, for example:
  • receiving CCC Promise grant fee waiver
  • receiving Pell grant and or financial aid
• Plan to transfer to a four-year institution (must not already hold a Bachelor's degree)
• Be a U.S. citizen, resident, or AB 540/DACA
• GPA of 2.2 or higher

IF you are a Calculus-based STEM Student if you are majoring in any of the following:
Biology | Biochemistry | Chemistry | Computer Science | Engineering | Math | Physics | Pre-Med | Geology
