Voice (ND)

This certificate is designed to help voice students entering the music field. Students will develop musical artistry and proficiency, learn to analyze and recognize musical patterns, and gain a breadth of knowledge of our diverse musical world. These music courses are designed to help students think, create, and collaborate in a critical, expressive, and articulate manner. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to Identify major topics, developments, debates, and issues in music. Discuss, analyze, and synthesize a variety of theoretical and practical foci in music. Develop expressive vocal technique in a range of styles, genres, and ensembles.

This certificate does not satisfy the major requirements for the Associate in Science degree.
