This certificate is designed to train students in the preparation of Federal and California state income tax returns. Students will develop a working knowledge of Federal and State Income tax law as it applies to individuals. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to demonstrate ability to read and understand the contents of a corporation’s annual report; develop a working knowledge of Federal and State Income tax law as it applies to individuals; and be able to prepare an individual tax return.
This certificate does not satisfy the major requirements for the Associate in Science degree.
