This certificate is designed to prepare non-native English speakers to succeed in STEM academic and career pathways. Students completing this certificate have achieved academic English skills at an advanced, postsecondary level. They have also achieved success in prerequisite or introductory coursework in a variety of degree, certificate, or general education patterns. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, the student will use English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills at an advanced level of academic proficiency; apply content knowledge of chosen electives in order to select a degree and/or career pathway. Students must complete all required courses for a minimum of 16-19.5 units
This certificate does not satisfy the major requirements for the Associate in Science degree.
