The mission of the Professional Development and Employee Training Program at Glendale Community College is to empower faculty, staff, and administrators with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to excel in their roles. Through a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration, we strive to create a supportive environment that fosters personal and professional growth. Our goal is to enhance the effectiveness and success of our team, ultimately contributing to the academic excellence and overall mission of the college.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING

The primary objective of employee training is to provide comprehensive legal and safety training to all employees.

The District is pleased to offer this training through Keenan Safe Colleges. Training topics available on Keenan Safe Colleges include: safety in the workplace, injury prevention, sexual harassment, communication styles and skills and implicit bias to name a few. The trainings are self-paced, and video based allowing employees to learn at their own speed. Short quizzes at the end of the training allows employees to test their grasp on the topics reviewed.
