Teaching English as a Second Language is more than a career for me—it is my passion.
I have a BA in Linguistics and a Master of Education in Teaching from Medaille College in New York. I also hold a TESL Certificate from UCLA and earned my Adult Education teaching credentials through the University of San Diego. I taught Credit ESL in Canada and continued my journey of teaching ESL at Glendale Community College after moving to California.
During my time at GCC, I have taught Level 1 and Level 2, as well as Beginning and Intermediate Conversation courses. In addition, I've been teaching English for Work, and it has been a rewarding and enjoyable experience. It gives me the opportunity to prepare students for the workplace through projects and hands-on activities.
In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, hiking, gardening, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and my cats.
